Energy Performance Services ("EPS") represents a group of affiliated energy services companies ("ESCOs") that specializes in developing, financing, implementing, and operating performance-based Energy Savings and Energy Producing Projects (combined heat and power plants) for industrial customers throughout the world. The principals of EPS have the unique experience of having successfully created and managed numerous ESCOs in international markets and have also successfully developed, financed and implemented numerous performance based energy projects in the U.S. and around the world.
The Principals of EPS have been active in ESCO performance contracting since its inception in the U.S. in 1981. Consequently, they have a wealth of experience in successfully developing, financing and implementing performance-based Energy Savings and CHP Projects. In international markets, they have focused primarily on the industrial market, which virtually no other U.S. ESCO does; as a result, EPS has assisted US ESCO's in their projects in the US, especially in the military base arena.
EPS has acquired specialized capabilities in various industries, energy utilization analysis, risk assessment, contract & financing structuring, international project financing and the development of measurement & verification protocols for tracking savings performance in complex industrial processes. They integrate energy efficiency with the energy reliability and supply requirements for industrial plants to enhance total energy utilization, process productivity and financial results. EPS improves industrial plant efficiency by making process and infrastructure improvements, implementing new operating methods, installing new technologies and providing alternative forms of energy.
